Phillip Terrell was elected District Attorney in December 2014, fulfilling a longtime dream.
A lifelong Central Louisiana resident, the Pineville native has more than 30 years’ experience practicing law, including more than 17 years as Pineville city judge.
As District Attorney, he’s committed to open access for the public and running a modern, professional office where victims are supported and offenders are prosecuted in a fair and efficient manner. At the same time, he supports creative means of addressing incarceration issues, such as a Pretrial Intervention Program for certain offenders.
